He’s literally standing inside the engine bay. Fucking classic.

During last semester at school, I went weeks upon weeks upon weeks without getting more than six hours of sleep. Most of the time it would be less, like three or four. Even on the weekends. I had so much to do. I took exams that I nearly slept through. There were papers that I was up writing until seven in the morning, then I took an hour nap, and then went to the class it was due for. I’ve got shitty circles under my eyes.

But yet, it seems next to impossible to wake Blake up before he’s gotten an absolute minimum of like, 10 hours of sleep, no matter how important it is for him to get up. I literally had to go outside and start the car and nearly fucking leave before he would wake up to go with me. He’s kind of a wuss, complains and details every pain he’s ever had, demands his beauty sleep, etc etc etc. I try to ignore it all but I’m just on an unhappy girlfriend streak I guess.

It’s funny how the internet gets boring as hell during the wee hours of the night. It’s pretty ironic, too, that I used to stay up just to talk to Blake on the internet. Now I’m staying up because it pisses me off that he’s allowed to run around town with a crowd that I know gets drunk as fuck, and doesn’t even text me.

He came home for a minute for whatever reason, and said, “I’ll be back in a while.” I asked how long of a while. “‘You should go to bed’ a while.” And he expected this not to piss me off?

I can’t even fathom what he’d do if I tried to pull something like this. He simply wouldn’t let it.

And to not invite me? They’re my friends too.

gabracadabra asked: Do you think I'll be able to read the book even though I know what happens? I hate reading books after I watch the movie. If I'm going to do both, book first, then movie. I'm usually good with that, too, but I didn't even know it was a book until the opening credits. :l

Oh, the book is much more dynamic than is possible through a two-hour movie, so I think it’ll have enough extra fluff to keep you interested. At the very least, check if your library has a copy and try it out.

((((((this is me accidentally not clicking the answer privately buttonnn))))))

gabracadabra:

So apparently this was on Encore earlier today and I never had to go through all those streaming issues to watch it for free. But whatever. I finally finished it.
What a beautiful movie. Beautiful, but sad in the way that it made me want to escape my world to live in one that doesn’t exist.
This is why I think I need to be a writer. Or an animator. Or something that involves creating worlds that don’t exist, but should.

Gab, if you loved the movie, READ THE BOOK. It’s summer, download a PDF or find a paperback of it somewhere. It’s such a beautiful book. I love the book and movie equally, but it’s seriously worth a read as well.
